Why Use Netflix?

Netflix is the foundation for distribution of digital media, where you can become a subscriber and have a multitude of television shows, movies, documentaries, sporting events, cartoons and more, at your disposal. The average cost for a Netflix subscription per month is under $10. Your average cable service provider will charge you approximately $60 per month. Satellite users, more than $60. Right? Right.

Let’s use $60 per month spent on cable, and that’s without movies, as our example. If you take 12 months and multiply it by $60, you get $720. If you multiply 12 months by $10 (Netflix subscription), you get $120. Netflix turns out to be 6x cheaper! Cable being 6x more expensive!

Keep in mind all the hassle involved with a cable service provider, and the lack of extra specialty channels for movies and documentaries and the like. Clearly, Netflix makes much more sense than paying $7,200 for cable over the course of 10 years…which you’ve already done once, maybe twice in your entire life. I think I’d rather pay $1,200 over those ten years and invest the rest!

A Netflix subscription opens your eyes to the power of multiplying over what’s realistic, rather than simple. Such as multiply what you spend for any other service maybe, by 12 months, as opposed to monthly. This provides a much more realistic approach. If it is an essential service like a water heater for example or cable tv, then an even more realistic approach would be to multiply by 5 or 10 years. This method gives you some real insight on how to save money in every part of your life.

So start by subscribing to Netflix!
