I don’t know why Netflix doesn’t have a way to do this- I suspect it may have to do with server load.
Some sites try and keep a current listing of whats available to watch on Netflix and what region they are in. If you use a service like UnBlockUS then you can watch wherever region of Netflix you like. For example I can be in my living room in Toronto and be watching UK or US Netflix.
